The 2020 Haervejsmarch offered far, far more great experiences than we had imagined before. I got 4 of us along, so there were 5 of us who went.

Herlev Hovedgade is not Hald Hovedgård, but once we started the virtual HVM march, the joy of walking, quietly and peacefully, turned into that anyway. With a little good will, Damhussøen in Vanløse can also remind us a little of Sønder Sø; and the geese on Klausdalsbrovej near Hareskoven, of the small swan boats that lie gently and rock in front of Golf Salonen at Nørre Sø.

One of the things that has struck me most is that EVERY TIME we walked, pictures appeared of places, situations and experiences from Viborg and the real Hærvejsmarch. Good memories that you almost became addicted to!

The impressive medals – the symbol of an unusual 2020 Haervejsmarch – have caused great happiness, and should it happen that we have to walk virtually again next year, it has already been agreed that we will be 10 in 2021, and ‘That’s not so bad after all’!
