THE CHILDREN’S MARCH – SUNDAY 30TH OF JUNE

Take the children on the march and give them a healthy, fun and different experience. Along the way on the 5 km route are competitions and entertainment, all under the heading "The Jungle Walk in Panama, which is the theme of the Children's march in 2024.

The Children's march is the children's very own march, for everyone between the ages of 0 and 10, as well as their parents, grandparents or other adults. You can take part as a family, a class, a nursery, a club, a group of friends or an association, for example. Lots of children on the Children’s March take part in pushchairs or wagons along with their companions.

TIP: Some parents (and older children) are extra energetic and walk a 10 or 20 km route in the morning, before walking the 5 km route with the littlest of their children.

TIME AND PLACE

Sunday 30th of June, 10 AM
10:00: Warm-up and entertainment on the Parade Square
11:00: Joint start from the starting portal on the Parade Square – Route 1x5 kilometres.
The finishing line and starting place are on the Parade Square (Paradepladsen), Tingvej, Viborg.

PRICE AND REGISTRATION

Participation costs DKK 75 per child. Adults accompanied by children are welcome for free. The children who buy start cards will receive a gift bag during the walk. All children with start cards will receive a medal and a diploma after passing the finishing portal on the Parade Square.

ROUTES

The starting and finishing line are on the Parade Square in Viborg Barracks. You can access it from Kasernehallen (The Sports Hall) at Tingvej 17, Viborg, where you can register and collect pre-ordered start cards and tickets for dining and accommodation.

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation and overnight stays are arranged by HÆRVEJSMARCHEN at Nordre school, which is within walking distance, and in the handball halls right next to the starting and finishing area.
