HÆRVEJSMARCHEN’s routes are located in and around Viborg. On Saturday, all the routes run north and east of Viborg, and on Sunday they run south and west of Viborg.
Two-day walks on the 20, 30, 40 and 45 km routes give you the right to a Hærvejsmarchen medal, an IML stamp and the option of buying an IML medal. For participants who are over 70 years old, this also applies to two-day walks on the 10 km routes.
The Children’s March route on Sunday, for children with their parents/grandparents:
All the routes are marked with the colours allocated to their distances – just follow HÆRVEJSMARCHEN’s signs all the way around.
The start and end of all the routes is on the Parade Square at Viborg Barracks – access is from Kasernehallen (The Sports Hall) at Tingvej 17, Viborg, where you can register, collect pre-ordered wristbands and tickets for dining and accommodation, and collect medals at the end.
